Visit the Chapel of Apung Iru Posted on 14 years ago by MIS Governor Lilia G. Pineda and Congresswoman Gloria M. Arroyo visit the chapel of Apung Iru, the patron saint of Apalit town. Aside from paying homage to St. Peter, they also visited areas in Apalit which are being mulled to become part of the tourism plans in the area. Shown with the governor and the congresswoman is Apalit Mayor Oscar Tetangco, Jr. (to Gov. Pineda’s right) and caretakers of Apung Iru and its chapel.
