CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The most wanted person in Macabebe was arrested by the police in a man-hunt operation after six months of hiding.
Jomar Cunanan y Simbulan 18 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Caduang Tete was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted murder and three counts of rape.
The Municipal Police Station headed by Police Chief Inspector John Clark conducted the intelligence operation on the activities of the suspect till he was apprehended on October 24 at four o’clock in the afternoon in his relatives’ house in Brgy. Saplad David in Macabebe.
PCI Clark said the suspect was caught by surprise when they arrived and he surrendered without a fight.
“Our station had been monitoring places where the suspect is possibly hiding. When the intelligence team was sure of his location we conducted Manhun-Charlie and was able to arrest him without struggle,” Clark said.
The chief of police added the suspect is too young to be involved in crimes like murder and rape and should be apprehended to prevent him for doing more felonies.
“Eighteen years old yet the most wanted in town. He should be stop as early as now to prevent him from being a notorious criminal,” he said.
