Province of Pampanga — Senator Imee Marcos and Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the distribution of assistance to 2,600 individuals in crisis situations (AICS) in various towns in the province on Thursday.
The AICS Program, as defined by its lead implementing agency—the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), is “a social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crisis such as illness or death of a family member, and other crisis situations.”
Each beneficiary from Arayat, Magalang, and Mexico received cash under the said program, and a food pack containing five kilograms of rice, five cans of sardines, and five cans of corned beef from the provincial government.
Aside from the AICS, Senator Marcos also delighted the Cabalens with a ₱5-million additional fund for each of the benefiting towns’ agricultural pilot programs.
Marcos.
She also expressed her thanks to the people of Pampanga for the support they are giving to Marcos family.
