The Provincial Government of Pampanga has awarded some brand new service car units to 11 chief of hospitals.
The ceremonial turnover was headed by Provincial Administrator Atty. Andres Pangilinan Jr., together with the OIC of the Provincial General Services Office Engr. Olimpio Pangan, Head of HRMD, Amelia Bondoc, and 1st District Board Member Crisostomo Garbo.
Some 11 units of 2016 Toyota Innova 2.5D AT that costs P1,216,000 each was given to 10 district hospitals and 1 provincial hospital.
According to Engr. Olimpio Pangan, OIC of the Provincial General Services Office, that these vehicles were given as incentives by Governor Lilia Pineda to 11 chief of hospitals for the huge amount of income they acquired from PhilHealth approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
A total of P2.4M was allotted for the purchase of the service vehicles.
Among the doctors awarded with brand new service vehicles were Dr. Benjamin Simbul, Chief of Hospital- ECCMH, Dr. Abenir Tungol, Chief of Hospital-JSLDH, Dra. Merly Baquiran, Chief of Hospital-RPDH, Dr. Antonio Ong, Chief of Hospital-RPRMH(Bulaon), Dr. Zenon Ponce, Chief of Hospital-ERDH, Dra. Jingle Maray, Chief of Hospital-RPRMH (Annex), Arturo Panganiban, Chief of Hospital-DBFDH, Dr. Benjamin Arboleda, Chief of Hospital-Mabalacat(District Hospital), Dr. Danilo Naguit, Chief of Hospital-DALDH and Dr. Jose Antonio Rivera, Chief of Hospital-OIC of the Provincial Health Office.
Atty. Panganiban furthered that these vehicles should be taken care of as they should always be put into good use such as official meetings and other general public service. All service vehicles are scheduled to be blessed on January 18, 2015.
