STA.ANA, Pampanga – Gov. Lilia Pineda urged cabalen philhealth members to maximize the use of this insurance to check and maintain their good health conditions.
During the distribution of Membership Data Records (MDRs) to the 3,662 residents of Sta.Ana and 6,063 of San Luis, Pineda reiterated to them the ALAGA KA (Alamin at Gamitin) Program that advocates the maximum utilization of the health insurance.
She encourage them to start availing the benefits entitled to them as Philhealth members chosen under the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The governor also advised them to use the cards in any government hospital in the province to avail the “no balance billing policy” wherein they will not pay for their hospitalization and no deposit is required.
“Start using your philhealth cards. Our provincial and district hospitals are now ready to serve you,” Pineda stated.
Gov. Pineda told them to review all the benefits they can avail under the indigent program of the health insurance.
“As indigent members you have more benefits than the other enrollees of philhealth. Go to the hospital for general check-up. If something is wrong with your health, review all the benefit packages and avail for it,” said the governor.
