Pampanga receives P7M check from DILG

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The provincial government of Pampanga received on Monday a check worth P7 million Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) from the Department Of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

DILG provincial director Myrvi Fabia personally handed the check to Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda and board members.

According to Gov. Pineda, the financial subsidy will be used for the construction and site development of the two storey, six classroom building in Calangain Elementary School in Lubao.

PCF is an incentive program by the DILG in the form of financial subsidy awarded to provinces, cities and municipalities amounting to P7 million, P3 million and P1 million correspondingly.

The incentive is awarded to local government units with Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) advocating transparent and good financial management, as one indicator among six aspects of Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
