CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The officials of the Federation of Small Scale Quarry Operators of Pampanga met Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda on Monday to personally hand over P300,000 financial assistance intended for the victims of the recent eruption of the Taal Volcano in the province of Batangas.
Joey Figueroa, president of the said federation who visited the governor, each of their members voluntarily donated monetary assistance to raise funds for the Batangueños ravaged by the continuous volcanic activity.
“It has been the advocacy of our federation to extend humanitarian means to people who are in need,” he said.
Governor Delta, meanwhile, said that they will turn over this week the said financial assistance to the Provincial Government of Batangas along with the other donations sent by the Kapampangans.
Federation of Small Scale Quarry Operators of Pampanga was established in 2008, and currently has fifty members.
