Pampanga hosts turn-over ceremony of ‘Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics’ for CL

City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Province of Pampanga hosted the ‘Turn-over Ceremony of Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics in 7 Provinces of Central Luzon’ on Tuesday, June 25.

Representing Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos personally handed over the symbolic key to Central Luzon’s provincial governors, signifying the official turnover of the mobile clinics, which are Toyota Coaster 2024 models.

“The nice thing about this is mayroon nang x-ray machine, lab equipment, at ultrasound na nakadikit sa loob para walang nakawan,” she said.

The First Lady also disclosed that next year, the president will release another batch of mobile clinics for 1,500 municipalities.

According to Assistant Secretary of Health, Atty. Paolo Teston, the initiative is inspired by the First Lady’s Lab For All Program, which aims to bring healthcare services closer to the people.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda expressed gratitude to the First Lady and the national government for their continuous support, not only to Pampanga but also to other provinces.

“Malaking tulong po ang mga mobile clinic para sa pagsasagawa ng mga consultation at diagnostic procedures sa mga komunidad. Dahil dito, mas marami pang kababayan natin ang maaabot ng ating mga programang pangkalusugan,” Governor Delta said, stressing the impact this initiative will have on improving healthcare access and services in remote and underserved communities across Central Luzon.
