Scheduled power interruption in parts of Pampanga Province
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) serves notice of the scheduled shutdown of the following transmission facilities:
Date: 28 September 2013
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Affected Distribution Utility: * Parts of Pampanga III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Pao, Apalit and Macabebe Substations)
Affected areas: * San Simon, Minalin, Sto. Tomas, Apalit, Macabebe and Masantol
Reason: To effect upgrading of Mexico Substation and other related devices and simultaneously conduct maintenance activities along Mexico-PIMU 69kV line
Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. NGCP customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
*Specific cities and municipalities that may be affected by the power interruption are determined by the abovementioned Distribution Utility (DU), unless the activity will have an effect on the entire franchise area. The DU allocates the available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption schedule among the end-users.
