Lubao Folks Laud Capitol For Livelihood Projects

LUBAO, Pampanga — Folks from San Francisco of this town lauded the provincial government led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda for the various livelihood projects launched for their village Thursday.

Sampaguita growers here received 2000 seedlings under the “Sampaguita Mabanglu” livelihood project managed by the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) headed by Luningning Vergara, and the Office of the Provincial Agriculture led by Crispin Guintu.

According to Vergara, San Francisco is the fourth village in this town to receive sampaguita seedlings under the said livelihood project launched this year.

“The distribution of the “miracle plant” had already extended to other municipalities and hopefully will be able to serve as a lucrative source of income for Kapampangans throughout the province,” Vergara added.

Meanwhile, 85 folks here also received 1000 native chickens for their livelihood from the Provincial Veterinary Office led by Dr. Augusto Baluyut Jr.

It was learned that the distributed chickens were 900 females and 100 male chickens.

Baluyut stressed that it is significant to distribute male chickens in order to produce fertilized eggs to ensure the propagation of poultry.

Moreover, San Francisco is the first village to receive native chickens under the new poultry livelihood project, as mentioned by Provincial Cooperative and Entrepreneurial Development Officer Mamerto Gatus.

Village Chief Glenda Flores said the livelihood projects launched in their village will surely uplift the living conditions of her constituents.

The village leader also expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of the governor for the people of their village.

“On behalf of the people of San Francisco, we wish for the governor’s good health so that she may help more people in need,” Flores stated. (Angelique Tuazon, PIO Pampanga)
