Health, Educational Assistance Posted on 13 years ago by MIS Governor Lilia G. Pineda tells women of some 1,598 households in the 27 barangays of Mabalacat that the checks turned over to them as forms of assistance came from the national government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. She credited President Benigno Aquino III and the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the program and the health, education and livelihood assistance they grant to marginalized sectors. She also assured the recipients that the provincial and municipal governments are doing their share in giving them various forms of assistance to improve the quality of their lives.
