CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Governor Lilia “Nanay Pineda on Monday met with some investors from Davao to talk about putting up Liquefied Natural Gas plants in Pampanga and in the surrounding areas, and the development of the cacao program in the province.

Philip Dizon, aide of Mindanao Cacao Center (MCC) proprietor Sonny Dizon, said that the group of investors are looking forward to partner with the provincial government of Pampanga in setting up an independent source of energy.

“This will be good for the province especially that we are connected to the Grid [National Grid Corporation of the Philippines]. Lagi tayong yellow alert lately, at makakatulong ito sa Grid lalo na hindi na tayo makikihati sa supply ng kuryente kapag independent na tayo,” he said.

The investors from Davao, led by Sonny Dizon, hope to help Pampanga reach its goals of future development starting with its independence to its source of energy.
