Guv inaugurates covered court in Macabebe

MACABEBE – Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, together with Board Member Olga Frances David-Dizon, Macabebe Mayor Annette Flores-Balgan and former Apalit Mayor Oscar “Jun” Tetangco led the blessing and inauguration of the newly-constructed covered court in Barangay San Jose here.

The ceremony started with a holy mass with San Roque Parish priest Reverend Father Paul Sahagum as the celebrant.

The covered court was constructed through the efforts of the Provincial Government which allotted P2.4-million as budget.

Governor Pineda thanked the officials of making the construction of the covered court possible. She also said that this is just one of the projects that the provincial government has made to answer the needs of the people especially in remote areas.

The governor added that the people should maintain harmony and unity among themselves to attain progress.

“Metung mu pu ing adwan ng Nanay Gov kekayu, na sana panatilihan tamu ing lugud, emu sana king balen Macabebe nune king mabilug a Pampanga,” she said.
