She congratulated the newly elected officials both in the barangay level and the SK as she encouraged them to practice good governance and to ensure the effective delivery of basic and other social services.

The governor emphasized that “elected leaders are public servants and they should work wholeheartedly for the people whom they pledge to serve”.

The governor also thanked the incumbent officials who faithfully served their constituents during their term but who have not been fortunate enough to be elected for a new term as she called on them to “continue serving their communities and work hand in hand with the newly elected officials”.

In conclusion, the governor encourages the newly elected officials to work towards having healthy families and communities in their respective areas, “since these would make up a healthy and progressive province”.
