CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda encouraged all politicians yesterday, to set aside their differences and instead, stand united and express love with one another.
“Mikakapatad ko ngan iwasan tamu itang mipapagbatung matsura ekayu mipapanakit, alang mapali buntuk. Luguran ta ya ing Kapampangan. Kapampangan ta ngan. Ala ing pulitikang ayan. Ing importanti, anggang ala tamu king pulitika itang serbisyu mu king kalupa mung kapampangan, itang misasanmetung at mikakalugud tamu”, the governor said.
This was gleaned during the turn-over ceremony of patrol vehicles to barangays Batang 1st in Sasmuan and Concepcion, San Simon at the Capitol grounds, yesterday.
Governor Pineda reminded the chiefs of the recipient barangays to make use of the patrol cars for the service of the people, especially those in need and the sick.
“Sana magamit ya karing serbisyu kareng tau, kareng masakit at nanu pa man ing kailangan da, importanti ding tau atin lang saken”, the governor said.
Pineda furthered, that these vehicles should not be used by candidates running for election.
“Makisabi ku pu kekayu, eye pu yayabe ing patrol kareng kandidatu, uling karen yang masakit at senior citizen. Bawal yang gagamitan king eleksyun. Ding sikaswan yu ding kekayung ka-barangay”, the governor said.
Pineda also requested the barangay chiefs to allot fund for the maintenance and diesel of the patrol vehicles.
Meanwhile, the governor also disclosed that for the first time, this year, the Philhealth collection has reached the P500 million mark.
In addition, the governor said that more and more people are now aware of their health conditions and no longer dread going to hospitals.
Moreover, the governor recognized the barangay chiefs present for all their support in her administration.
Also seen at the event were Board members Crisostomo Garbo and Anthony Joseph Torres, San Simon Mayor Leonora Wong, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council head Angie Blanco and former Board member and Chief-of-Staff Fritzie David Dizon, Engr. Noli Pangan and other local officials.
