GOV to intensify Peace and Order in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—“Resolving peace and order requires expansive support from the community”.  Thus, said, Governor Lilia Nanay Pineda to the Chiefs of police from different municipalities during their 1stCommand Conference held at the Executive House of Capitol, over the week.

The governor wanted to prioritize the convoluted towns in terms of peace and order and drug related crimes in giving her support.

“ Kailangan  ang mga ganyang bayan bayan na may problema ang unahin natin sa hinihingi nilang support”, Pineda said pertaining to the towns of Mexico, Arayat, Magalang, Porac, Sta. Ana, Candaba, Floridablanca and cities of SanFernando and Mabalacat.

According to the governor,  there will be additional 100 barangay patrol vehicles on process to augment the monitoring of peace and order situation in every barangay particularly the campaigns against illegal drugs.

The lady governor also assured the chiefs of police the procurement of new gloc 9mm pistols to be administered by Vice Governor Dennis Pineda.

Furthermore, the governor stressed out her endeavor to provide improvements and new police stations including motorcycles for the PPO’s.

Governor Pineda also cited Philippine Army Brigade Commander Col. Diciano of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in offering his army to train barangay tanods to be the counterparts and as traffic enforcers due to the meager number of policemen in the province.

Meanwhile, the Capitol planned to create Pampanga Youth Commission to collect all out of school youth and vagrants in the province and help them live a decent life.

Meanwhile, the conference also discussed the APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit and the concerns of the governor regarding the security in maintaining peace and order situation in and out of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) where the summit started Monday until Feb.7 Saturday.

A national organizational committee was arranged to provide security to the APEC delegates , it was  disclosed.

Also, the governor alerted the chiefs of police not to concentrate on the main event alone but to secure the towns near the Clark Development Corporation premises, during the summit and their stations as well.

Governor Pineda was joined by Provincial Director Sr./Supt. Rodolfo Recomono Jr. and Chief-of-Staff Fritzie David Dizon.
