Gov, Philhealth distribute 4,028 MDRs in Bacolor, CSFP

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Pampanga Gov. Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) officials distributed members data record (MDRs) to some 4,028 indigent residents from Bacolor town and Northville Calulut in City of San Fernando.

 

The distribution is aimed at providing help for the poorest of the poor which is being carried out by the Department of Health (DOH), Philhealth and the provincial government headed by Gov. Pineda.

 

1,028 MDRs were distributed in Northville Calulut Covered Court while 3,000 MDRs were distributed in Cabambangan Covered Court in Bacolor.

 

The governor urged the beneficiaries to maximize their MDRs which were given to them at no cost.

 

“Just show your MDRs so you could avail the free hospitalization from government hospitals in the province and anywhere in the Philippines,” Pineda said.

 

Gov Pineda also mentioned that non-Philhealth members can avail of its services through Philhealth’s “Point of Care” program.

 

The governor said the provincial government allotted P50 million for the point of care program.

 

Also present during the activity were 3rd district Rep. Oscar Rodriguez, board members Crisostomo Garbo, Rosve Henson and Ferdinand Labung, Bacolor Mayor Jomar Hizon and Vice Mayor Jun Canlas, former board member Fritzie David-Dizon, PSWDO Elizabeth Baybayan and other local officials.
