LUBAO – Gov. Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda on Friday distributed food packs to 710 dialysis and cancer patients from the second district.
Gov. Pineda also handed P1,000 each to the patients with a total amount of P710,000.
Aside from the financial assistance, the governor also distributed 10 kilos of rice, pack of hotdogs, fresh chicken and goody packs to the patients.
According to Gov. Pineda, the distribution of goods was still part of the month long celebration of the 444th founding anniversary of the province or the ‘Aldo ning Kapampangan’.
Executive Assistant Myrna ‘Bot’ Manio, head of the governor’s medical services, said the medical team of the governor made a list of the beneficiaries of the said activity.
“Umikot ‘yong mga Nars sa Nayon sa buong 2nd district para bisitahin at hanapin ‘yong mga pasyenteng nangangailangan talaga ng tulong,” said Manio.
The governor assured the patients that the provincial government will continuously provide financial and medical assistance to them.
Also present during the activity were former board member Fritzie David-Dizon and Porac Vice Mayor Dexter David.
