Gov. Delta inspects new P25.5-M isolation bldg in Lubao

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led on Friday the inspection of the newly completed P25.5-million single-storey building in Brgy. Sta. Catalina, Lubao.

According to Gov. Delta, the building came into fruition through the Local Government Support Fund–Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Program (LGSF-DRRAP) of the national government.

“Bigay ito ng pamahalaang nasyunal sa ‘tin bilang tugon do’n sa hiniling natin kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong 2021. Mayroon itong forty-two (42) air-conditioned rooms na may kanya-kanyang comfort rooms. Mag-uukol din tayo ng kwarto para sa mga doktor at sa nurse station,” said the governor.

He said, the building will add up to the existing isolation facilities in the province, which will cater individuals afflicted with COVID-19.

“Maraming salamat po sa pamahalaang nasyunal para sa ibinigay ninyong pondo para maisakatuparan itong proyektong ‘to, malaking tulong po ito sa mga mamamayan ng Pampanga, lalo na’t hindi pa natitigil ang pandemya,” Gov. Delta added.

The provincial government, for its part, will fund the procurement of medical equipment to be installed in the facility for its initial operations.

Joining the governor during the inspection were Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda, Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco, Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, General Services Office Head Francis Maslog, Dr. Zenon Ponce, provincial health officer, and Dr. Fleur Zapanta, Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital chief. –Jasmine Jaso/Pampanga PIO
