First Procession Along Pampanga River Posted on 12 years ago by MIS Governor Lilia G. Pineda and other local officials lead a procession of the images of Sto. Cristo del Perdon and Virgen delos Remedios on the riverways from Candaba to Apalit, the first time such a procession is being held. The purpose of said procession is to thank the Lord for the blessings showered upon the province and its people and pray for safety, peace and deliverance from every trial and calamity. With the governor are board members Nestor Tolentino, Trina Dizon, Monina Laus, Fritzie David-Dizon, Col. Gregorio Catapang of the 703rd Infantry Brigade, Col. Bernard Perez and Capt. Mike Masangcay.
