CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The new set of officers of the Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) – Pampanga Chapter led by its President – Porac Councilor Olga Frances “Fritzy” David-Dizon took their oath-of-office yesterday administered by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Second District Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in a Flag Raising Ceremonies held at the Capitol grounds, this city.
Other PCL officers who took oath were Bacolor Councilor Efren Blanco, vice president; Sta Ana Councilor Miriam Lansangan, secretary-general; Arayat Councilor Sixto “Pogi” Mallari, treasurer; Apalit Councilor Jesus Torres, auditor; Mabalacat Councilor Rox Pena, PRO and Mabalacat Councilor Gerald Aquino, business manager.
PCL Board of Directors are Sasmuan Councilor Ariel Sarmiento, Bacolor Councilor Joel Samia, Magalang Councilor Andi Dela Cruz, Guagua Councilor Jun Lim, Candaba Councilor Carol David, San Fernando Councilor Tinio Dizon, Lubao Councilor Jay Montermayor and Sta. Rita Councilor Alex Hortado.
In the August 2 election of PCL officers, Dizon got 124 votes out of 194 councilors who casted their votes.
The members of the line-up of Dizon all won against their respective rivals from the team of Angie Hizon.
