CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some 400 inmates from the Pampanga Provincial Jail (PPJ) benefited from the dental mission conducted by the provincial government through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), recently.
Provincial dental supervisor Dr. Thricia Sunglao said the dental mission is part of the regular activity of the PHO inside the provincial jail to ensure the health and well-being of the inmates.
Tooth extractions and check-up were performed on the inmates who were suffering from tooth decay and proper medications were also provided during the activity.
The activity was participated in by 15 dentists from the district hospitals of the province, some rural health units, and a private practitioner, and staff from the PHO and the Provincial Malward.
Sunglao disclosed that the PHO will conduct another dental and medical mission inside the PPJ in December as part of the Pampanga Day celebration.
