CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda announced in front of 3,916 purok leaders that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan is bent to allot budget to give assistance for Dengvaxia vaccine emergency cases.

This was gleaned during the Year-End Assessment of Community-Based Disaster and Peace and Order Management for Purok Leaders held at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center here.

The lady governor said that if ever there will be cases of Dengvaxia vaccine side-effect, the hospitalization for them will be for free. She then tasked the purok leaders to aid the health workers for better healthcare coverage in rural areas.

“I ask you, the purok leaders, to help your ka-barangays in referring to the health workers any signs of sickness especially those who are incapable of going to the hospitals. I also ask you to report immediately those vaccinated with Dengvaxia and had suspicious illness,” she said.

Nanay Gov also reminded the purok leaders to relay her message to the Cabalens to always have their free regular check-up to the 11 provincial and district hospitals in Pampanga.

Meanwhile, each purok leader received their early Christmas gift from the Provincial Capitol. Each received 1 bundle of hotdog, 1 whole chicken, and P 500 cash.

The event was also graced by Vice-Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, and Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon, Benny Jocson, Rosve Henson, Rolando Balingit, Cherry Manalo and Gerome Tubig.
