CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Aside from the obvious improvement on the health programs in the province, the Provincial Government of Pampanga also prioritized the infrastructure projects to attract more investors and for the convenience of the Cabalens.
The Provincial Capitol, through the Provincial Engineering Office, reported a total of P2, 740, 411, 610.19 for the infrastructure projects, programs and activities of Pampanga since Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda started her term in 2010.
For the school buildings, a total of P191, 092, 416.99 was recorded for the construction and P202, 343, 590.78 for the improvement. At least P147, 647, 913.21 was spent for the multi-purpose covered area/school stage and P16, 019, 105.96 for the boys’ and girls’ comfort rooms.
Capitol also spent a total of P21, 888, 841.83 for the Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) Satellite Campus (including site development) and P19, 947, 773.34 for the proposed construction of the two (2) storey DHVTSU building.
For the Philippines State College of Aeronautics, the Provincial Government of Pampanga recorded a total of P19, 908, 244.48 and around P10, 982, 658.89 for the construction of Mabalacat City College Annex Building.
Meanwhile, a total of P12, 558, 447.29 was spent for the Provincial Development Academy and P17, 794, 567.01 for the proposed construction of the two (2) storey of Pampanga State Agricultural University School Building.
A total of P777, 208, 614.40 was spent for the roads, canals and bridges, P349, 829, 728.25 for the multi-purpose covered area/court on various barangays and P492, 958, 887.77 for the other buildings and structures.
For the hospitals, a total of P296, 282, 052.08 was spent and P20, 079, 002.73 for the birthing stations.
The provincial government also spent P114, 615, 364.68 for the construction of national government buildings like the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Commission on Elections (Comelec), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Regional Trial Court (RTC), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Commission on Audit (COA), Philippine Postal Office (PHLPost), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Philippine National Police (PNP).
It also spent P29, 254, 400.50 for the Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF) in the province.
