MABALACAT – The provincial government led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda has distributed patrol vehicles, 27 motorcycle units with side cars, for the use of each barangay in this town.
During the turn over ceremonies, Police Superintendent Rodney Baloyo proudly declared that Mabalacat currently holds the highest arrest rate in Pampanga.
The police chief asserted that this would not be possible without proper coordination and continuous support from the barangay officials.
Baloyo stated that the given patrol vehicles will further improve the security of the town. Barangay officials can now promptly respond to any call outs or pursue criminal elements when necessary.
Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Vice Governor Joseller “Yeng” Guiao were also present during the ceremonies. In his brief message, Guiao stressed the significance of teamwork amongst the members of the sanggunian.
The success of each project lies on each member’s effort and support, the vice governor ended.
Meanwhile, Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales expressed his gratitude for the unending assistance of the provincial government. Capitol’s projects empower Mabalacat and help the town to become more productive, the mayor declared.
Accordingly, Governor Pineda vowed to continuously support Mabalacat in its endeavors. The capitol will always strive to provide the needs of every Kapampangan, the governor added.
Pineda also thanked the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their efforts, thru the leadership of the Vice Governor Guiao, since the capitol’s projects would not be realized without them.
Furthermore, P300,000 funds will be given by the governor for the Mabalacat Employees’ Association.
Along with the patrol vehicles, P1, 000 was also given for every barangay for their gas expenses. (Angelique DC. Tuazon, PIO Pampanga)
