CAPITOL GRANTS P2M FINANCIAL AID TO 358 SCHOLARS

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Government of Pampanga distributed P1,972,000 educational financial assistance to 358 student beneficiaries from several towns of the province last November 7, Thursday.

Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the said distribution at Benigno Hall, Capitol Blvrd., Brgy. Sto. Niño, here.

“After you graduate, help your parents. You should give back to them all their sacrifices just to provide all your needs,” said the vice governor.

She also advised the students to “wear proper attire when attending job interviews, and always be confident when speaking.”

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, meanwhile, also sent his regards to the student beneficiaries.

“Nurture your education, because it is the best gift that your parents could ever give you,” he said.

Also present during the event were Board Members Olga Frances David Dizon, Ananias Canlas, Jr., Nelson Calara, Benny Jocson, Pampanga Councilor’s League (PCL) President Venancio “Ashong Macapagal, and Pampanga Liga ng mga Barangay President Renato “Gabby” Mutuc.

The distribution was facilitated by the Provincial Library, led by Jasmine Carla Cordero, in coordination with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO).
