City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The provincial government headed by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda distributed assistance to 756 bedridden senior citizens.
Members of the provincial board, acting on behalf of Governor Delta, personally facilitated the delivery of assistance to beneficiaries across the province.
Each recipient was provided with two cans of nourishing milk and a cash assistance amounting to P2,000.
Second District Board Member Sajid Eusoof, committee chairperson on senior citizens underscored the program’s goal to lend a helping hand to families supporting their ailing and bedridden loved ones.
“Balu ng Gov Delta at Vice Gov Nanay kung makananu kasakit ing ating babanten a matwa at masakit king pamilya. Kaya gagawan mi ngan ing agyu mi bang asopan ne ning Kapiolyu deng ngang masakit, mapa cash ya man yan o gatas ya bang ating tamu abie kareng pamilya dang magsakripisyu para karela,” said Eusoof.
Gratitude flowed from the recipients, with Jocelyn Ceniza, a relative of a beneficiary from Apalit, expressing her heartfelt appreciation, “Maraming-maraming salamat po Gov Delta, sobrang makakatulong po ito sa nanay kong may sakit, kasi bedridden nanay ko, ako lang nag-aalaga sa kanya.”
