BCDA eyes Clark Green City in Pampanga

Clark Freeport -Dubbed as “the most ambitious project yet,” Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is bent to construct the Clark Green City in Pampanga.

BCDA is a government-owned corporation that is behind master-planned global cities and self-sustaining communities that boost national economic growth.

According to BCDA President and Chief Executive Vivencio Dizon, the 9,450-hectare state of the art metropolis is located within the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) and will be the very first true green and gifted city promoting inclusive growth that will boost Philippines’ global competitiveness.

Dizon emphasized that the Clark Green City has the potential to become the premier city of the Philippines.

Dizon also said that the Clark Green City is designed to cater to government agencies, businesses, educational organizations, research institutions, agro-industries and tourism.

Tentatively, the master plan of Green City will be finished in June of this year.

Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and Chief Executive Officer Noel Manankil disclosed the current economic state of Clark has 895 locators, 93, 089 workers and a total of $3.32 billion exports since December of 2016.

The possible construction of the proposed site of the new government center in Clark was also addressed during the conference.
