ARAYAT, Pamp. — Mayor Emmanuel “Bon” Alejandrino and Vice Mayor Ramon Changcoco welcomed the 100 millionth Kapampangan baby, who was born at 12:40 in the morning at Dr. Emigdio C. Cruz Sr. Memorial District Hospital located in Barangay San Agustin here.
The baby was named Jayvie Santos Catli, fondly called as “Lucky” was one of the 100 babies nationwide who are qualified to become symbolic baby to mark 100- million population of the country.
Baby Jayvie a 3.3-centimeter baby boy who weighs 3.3 kgs was the first child of the 19-year old Rubie and her 25- year old common law partner, Jayson Catli. His parents are residents of Barangay San Juan Bano, this town.
The baby’s biological parents were asked by Mayor Alejandrino to get married on Friday with free food and reception at the municipal hall here.
The mayor said his best gift for baby Jayvie is to solemnize the marriage of his parents and making their union legal under the eyes of God and the law.
