Arayat, Pampanga – Atleast 980 patients benefited from the medical mission brought by the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program” of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda on Friday, January 26, 2024.
On behalf of the governor, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, together with the team of medical professionals including doctors, nurses, dentists, and specialists, led the medical and dental mission.
Each patient received medical check-ups, eye consultations, dental extractions, and take home medicines.
Vice Gov Nanay said, the program showcases the administration’s commitment to public health.
“Panabilin na kayu pung Gov kanaku. Inatasan na ku pung Gov na dapat deng gang Kapampangan puntalan kula bang kanita pu ala ng lalala sakit,” she said.
Each patient also received relief goods from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and financial assistance from the provincial government.
Board Member Nelson Calara, Dr. Zenon Ponce, provincial health officer, PSWD OIC Fe Manarang, and JBLMGH Director Dr Monserrat Chichioco were also present to extend their support to the medical mission.
