300 students receive educational assistance from PB

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – A total of 300 college students benefitted from the educational financial assistance distributed by the provincial board this Thursday at the Benigno Aquino Hall.

 

The P750,000 worth of assistance distributed by board members Arthur Salalila, Salvador Dimson Jr and Jerome Tubig was part of the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the provincial government which is one of the basic social services intended for underprivileged but deserving students in Pampanga.

 

Salalila, who is also the chairman of the committee on education, reminded the students to study hard and finish their studies.

 

“The provincial government and the provincial board will always support you with your studies. Graduate with flying colours,” Salalila said.

 

Board member Dimson also reminded the beneficiaries that the provincial government’s request is for them to be responsible students.

 

According to board member Tubig, the activity’s one of the many programs and services allotted to Kapampangan students.
