Sandigangbayan Associate Justice Ma. Theresa Dolores C. Gomez Estoesta administered the oath of office of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice–Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda in front of more than 500 officials and guests.

A thanksgiving mass was also held that was preceded by Rev. Archbishop-Emeritus Paciano “Apu Cetu” Aniceto in which he reminded the officials that given the opportunity to serve the people requires greater responsibility.
“When you use your position for your personal interest that’s when anomaly arises. You should remember that you’re here to serve not to be served” Paciano added.
Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pampanga Director Myrvi A. Fabia also delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of public service.
“Public service is a commitment. We should have the commitment and passion in serving our constituent. You are only given three years to serve, but your serve now will determine the future of the next generation of our cabalens. Just be guided of what is true, what is right and what is just,” Fabian said.
Archbishop of San Fernando Florentino G. Lavarias also congratulated the newly elected officials and gave his final blessing.
Governor Lilia Pineda on her inaugural address reiterated her call for the officials to unite and work together for the continuous progress of the province.
