CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some P1.5-million were given to the 22 candidates of the 2013 Mutya Ning Kapampangan by the provincial government as financial support.
During the flag ceremony yesterday, Gov. Lilia Pineda lauded the 22 candidates of the Mutya ning Kapampangan for joining the competition that requires their time and effort.
Specifically, each candidate received P50, 000 from the provincial government as assistance for their daily expenses until they reach the coronation night.
“Joining this pageant is a sacrifice. Their time for their families and studies were spent to the different activities of the competition. It is also costly because they need to hire make-up artists and hairdressers,” said Gov. Pineda.
Ashley Nicole Singh, Mutya ning Kapampangan candidate from Porac has expressed gratitude to the provincial government and to the Mutya Ning Kapampanga Committee.
“We are very thankful to Gov. Pineda and to the Mutya ning Kapampangan committee. They are supportive to our needs and we have learned a lot from them and more important that they consider us as their family,” she said.
The Mutya ning Kapampangan 2013 coronation night will be on December 10, 2013 at Bren Z Guiao Convention Center.
