CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Some 615 undergraduates lauded Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda recently for her continuous support to the youth during the 2nd salary distribution of Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) held at Benigno Hall, Capitol Grouunds.
The Pampanga Provincial Employment and Services Office (PESO) distributed a total of P4, 674,000 or P7, 600 each to the beneficiaries.
SPES beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the lady governor for her selfless effort in initiating this program that aid in sustaining their college education.
Jennilyn Mutuc, a 3rd year college student of Floridablanca National Agricultural School (FNAS) acknowledged the benefit of SPES Program by which lighten the burden of paying their school fees.
“The SPES Program is really a big help especially to us less fortunate. With this, it helped us pay for our tuition fee and also our miscellaneous fees,” she added.
The SPES beneficiaries completed a 20-day work schedule during their summer vacation last year.
