CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Pampanga Association of Water Districts, Inc. (PAMAWD) on Tuesday inducted their new set of officers for the administrative year 2017-2018 at Fortune Restaurant, here.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, represented by Provincial Administrator Attorney Andres S. Pangilinan, Jr. led the induction of the newly-installed officials coming from 13 partner water districts in the whole province.
The officers are divided into two sets, the Executive Council and the Board of Directors. The new members of the Executive Council is led by their president, Reynaldo C. Liwanag from the Angeles City Water District, and vice-president Rolando B. Tolentino from Masantol Water District. Other members are Evelina Galicia of Lubao Water District as Secretary; Eduardo Rodriguez of Guagua Water District as Treasurer; Jeffrey Lintag of Floridablanca Water District as Auditor; Francis Vinuya of Candaba Water District, Gil Manalastas of Porac Water District and Rene Bernarte of Macabebe Water District as Sergeant-at-Arms; and Jorge Gumba of City of San Fernando Water District as Press Relations Officer. Meanwhile, the Board of Directors is led by the newly-installed Chairperson Ferdinand Caylao from the City of San Fernando Water District and Vice-Chairman Allan Capili from Masantol Water District with Bella Malig of Porac Water District as Secretary and Divina Tulio of Guagua Water District as Treasurer.
In his first speech as chairman, Caylao urged his fellow officers as well as its members to unite and retain the family status of the association.
“The strength of this association lies within each and every one of us,” he said.
He added that being new in the field of water district, he will offer the best of himself and his knowledge for the betterment of the association.
He also vowed to share excess resources to those who are lacking of it, where water source will be offered to those who can’t access it.
Also present in the Induction of Officers is City of San Fernando Mayor Edwin “Edsa” Santiago.
