51 elderlies receive 100 K from Pampanga gov’t

GOVERNOR LILIA “NANAY” PINEDA, HAND-IN A CHECK WORTH  P100,000.00 TO ONE OF THE CENTENARIANS, WHILE GMA LOOKS ON.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Some 51 elderlies received P100,000 each or a total of P5.1 million as incentives from the provincial government yesterday, held at the Benigno Hall, Capitol compound, this city.

A total amount of P20.6 – Million were given to 206 elderlies through-out Pampanga, since the program started last year.

The elderlies who came from the different towns of Pampanga, were joined by their kin who commended the governor’s initiative of making them happy and contented.

The distribution of incentives was led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo together with Lubao Mayor Mylyn Pineda- Cayabyab, who also graced the occassion.

The governor vowed to continuously help the elderlies, as they reached the age of 95 and above, as her show of love to them.

Other benefits coming from the provincial government includes PhilHealth and livelihood which are all beneficial to the Cabalens.

PSWD Officer Elizabeth Baybayan, together with the provincial treasurer’s office staff headed by Mrs. Susan Luna, graced the distribution of checks.
