Recto lauds Gov for unity in the province

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—Senator Ralph Recto lauded Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda for preserving unity among the people of the province.

This was gleaned during the former’s courtesy call at the governor’s office in Capitol, here.

Senator Recto commended the governor and Vice-governor Dennis Pineda as they remained unopposed in the coming May 2016 elections.

Governor Pineda during the call, disclosed with the senator her idea of putting a river catchment in Pampanga River.

This, the senator said, will benefit the farmers in Central Luzon as it will increase their productivity.

Recto also added, it may also serve as irrigation that will prevent floods in near provinces like Bulacan and all the communities in the province, especially the seven towns who yearly are affected by floods.

Recto furthered, that the mega-dike during the Mt. Pinatubo is an example of a good project that has remained advantageous to the whole province.

Meanwhile, the senator also shared some of his advocacy plans such as free public college education, modernization of public hospitals especially in towns and local municipalities.

Recto also revealed that he was the author of the automatic Phil-health insurance membership of the senior citizens that is now being enjoyed by our elders.

Recto also disclosed the tax reform that has been benefitting all employees, that no tax is charged on their 13th month pay and Christmas bonuses.

The senator also wishes to cut tax rates of the workers and small businesses.

Recto also donated a check worth P200,000 for the towns  extensively affected by typhoon Lando.

When asked who among Roxas and Poe he’s side be, the dashing senator quipped, “Both are my friends but I am with the Liberal Party, I am grateful that both of them are for Recto.”
