Capitol boosts public service in Magalang thru multi-million projects

MAGALANG, Pampanga – In her effort to further improve the delivery of civil services in this town, Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda announced the construction of another government facility following the near completion of the P2.5-million Municipal Police Station project here.
The new government building will be constructed in a vacant lot near said town’s municipal hall and will accommodate offices of national line agencies namely, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), said Pineda.
The governor revealed this new development after her recent inspection of the Magalang MPS last Tuesday together with Board Members Crisostomo Garbo and Cherry Manalo.
Romy Pecson, the town’s chief executive, expressed appreciation in behalf of all his constituents for the governor’s continuous support.
“Maragul ke pu kapasalamatan kang Governor Pineda para kareng tuki-tuking proyektu ning Kapitolyu para kareng Magaleños. Uli na niti, siguradu mas sumanting pa ing serbisyu para kareng memalen ning Magalang,” Pecson added.
P2.5-million MPS almost done
Meanwhile, the newly constructed Magalang MPS will house administrative, intelligence, operations, logistics, finance, police community relations, and investigations offices as well as the women and children protection desk.
Superintendent Juritz Rara, town’s police chief, also thanked the provincial government for its support.
“Rest assured that the Magalang MPS will strive harder to keep this town peaceful and continue to render quality services to our kabalens,” said Rara in a statement.
