CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—“What the governor wants is to monitor, by organizing a regular home owners association including the ordinary subdivisions.  With proper conversation and diplomacy we could have access inside these subdivisions.”

Board Member Rosve Henson of the 3rd district told the barangay chieftains as he cited the governor, during the awarding of their regular financial aid at the Executive House of the Provincial Capitol yesterday.

This was gleaned in relation with the recently raided drug warehouse at Greenville subdivision where a total of P7 billion worth of shabu was confiscated.

He also said that the barangay leaders hold power to execute the law and focus on the peace and order in their community.

“Obligate all rental owners, landlords of every apartment to the barangay council without asking a fee to register their names and of their lessees and boarders.  Invoke peace and order in your community”. Henson said.

Henson also stressed, that a Barangay Ordinance should be passed on, applicable to every barangay where all necessary details be scooped out from the occupants of the said apartments and their whereabouts.

He also mentioned to submit  Barangay Anti-drug Council as a requirement from the DILG to conduct anti-drug seminars in coordination and cooperation with the PNP.

Meanwhile, BM Henson assured that 100 units of brand new barangay patrol vans out of the approved 500 vans would be ready for distribution.

“The rest, would be distributed 100% anytime soon under the governor’s three conditions; 1. Proper garage for the van  2. There should have a permanent driver  3. Annual maintenance”  he said.
