Mayor Morales Cites Capitol’s Support

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Mabalacat City Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales lauded the continuous support extended by the provincial government to the Mabalaqueños despite being declared as one of the province’s cities.

During the philhealth distribution in this city, Mayor Morales reiterated to his constituents the numerous projects they received since the assumption to the office of Gov. Lilia Pineda.

“All of us should be thankful to the Gov. for the concreting of roads, rehabilitation of our district hospitals, livelihood and health programs, construction of classrooms and other infrastructure projects,” he told them.

He also expressed gratitude to the provincial government for giving Mabalacat a total of 13 million pesos for priority development in their area aside from the projects facilitated and implemented by capitol.

“The Pineda administration gave us budget for priority projects when we were still a municipality and in never stopped now that we are a city. For these supports we are grateful to Gov. Pineda,” said Morales.

VM Christian Halili, seconded the statement of the city’s chief executive. He said the governor had 15,000 philhealth beneficiaries in their town on her first term and another 700 for this year.

“Nobody can question the assistance and support of Gov. Pineda in Mabalacat.  Every sector in this city benefitted from her programs in projects,” Halili stated.
