Gov cites Kapampangan Solons

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Gov. Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda cited all the Kapampangan legislators who brought projects for the development of the province during their term of office.

The governor in her inaugural speech acknowledged all the people and leaders that contributed much for Pampanga.

Full of emotion, Gov. Pineda commended re-elected second district Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who according to her never falter to serve despite her being in a hospital arrest at Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC).

“Even at VMMC her constituents benefitted from her programs and project; the thousand of philhealth cards, millions of infrastructure projects and numerous bills. Let us pray for her recovery and for her to remain strong in the midst of challenges,” Pineda stated.

Pineda extolled former Cong. Carmelo Lazatin of first district for the funds he allotted for his district for the past six years, former fourth district Cong. Ana York Bondoc- Sagum for the concreting of Arayat-Apalit setback-levee and former third district Cong. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales for numerous projects and projects.

“They brought many projects in the province especially during the administration of former President and now Congw. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo,” the governor said.

She also mentioned Senator Lito Lapid for the allotment of P25 million for the Jose-Songco-Lapid District Hospital in Porac.

“His son and now Porac councilor Maynard Lapid assured us that for the last three years of Sen. Lapid in senate he will pour more funds in Pampanga,” said Pineda.

The governor urged the new district representatives in the province (First District Cong. Joseller Guiao, Third District Cong. Oscar Rodriguez and fourth District Cong. Rimpy Bondoc) to unite in bringing development in the province the way their predecessors did.
