Megadike Inspection Posted on 14 years ago by MIS Governor Lilia G. Pineda, with some mayors and officials of concerned agencies, conducts an inspection of the megadike which is in need of improvement and fortification from the damage wrought by erosion . Officials from the Departments of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) briefed the governor on the work already accomplished and she instructed them to complete what still needs to be done to make the megadike strong enough to protect the lives of people and property in the towns that it covers.
