Capitol Helps Intensify Peace and Order in Apalit

APALIT, Pampanga – The provincial government headed by Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda has helped in the intensification of peace and order in this town through the distribution of motorized patrols for the 12 barangays here yesterday (Monday).

The governor was joined by board members Ric Yabut, Nestor Tolentino, Monz Laus, Fritzie David-Dizon, and Cris Garbo; provincial director PSSupt. Edgardo Tinio; brigade commander Col. Gregorio Catapang; Mayor Jun Tetangco;  and Vice mayor Peter Nucum during the flag raising ceremony at the municipal hall followed by the turn-over and blessing of the barangay patrols officiated by Fr. Olet Lopez.

Police Chief Superintendent Homer Penecilla, town’s police chief, assured the governor that every barangay will be thoroughly guarded and a schedule will be set for the watchers.

The chief of police vowed to personally monitor the implementation of their regular work schedules on peace and order.

Tinio also reminded the village watchers to utilize the distributed patrols properly and avoid using such in unruly activities.

The provincial director is also grateful for the governor’s continuous efforts in maintaining peace and order throughout the province.

Meanwhile, Governor Pineda asked the townsfolk of Apalit to also thank the provincial board members who are behind the success of every project launched by the government.

“Hindi ako nabibigo kapag humihingi ako ng pondo sa kanila dahil alam nilang napupunta ito sa ikabubuti ninyo,” the governor added.

Pineda also urged the municipal officials, barangay officials, and even the municipal employees to continue improving the services for their constituents. “We are here to serve them,” the governor ended.(Angelique DC. Tuazon, PIO Pampanga)
