Townsfolk of San Luis Laud Guv for Continuous Support

SAN LUIS – Locals in this town lauded the provincial government led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda for the distribution of tricycle patrols and annual financial assistance for the town’s 17 barangays last Wednesday.

This developed as Mayor Venancio “Asyong” Macapagal expressed gratitude to the governor for her unwavering support for their town, in behalf of the sangguniang bayan and his constituents.

“Ekayu pu sana sasawa, basta reng tau San Luis kaluguran da kayu pu,” Macapagal ended.

Also, Police Chief Inspector David Arcega recognized the efforts of barangay officials in maintaining order in their town and asked for their continuous support.

“Ang pagtitipon na ito ay isang pagpapatunay ng matatag na relasyon ng ating pamahalaan at ng kapulisan tungo sa pagpapanatili sa isang mapayapa at ligtas na komunidad,” the town’s chief of police declared.

Meanwhile, Governor Pineda had nothing but praise for the town’s leader.

“Ing buri ku pu talagang maging mayor anti ini [Macapagal]. Agyang nu me idala, king albug, king marangle agyang nukarin pung lugar pwedi ya. First term na pamu pu pero lawen yu pu ing concern na,” Pineda declared.

According to the governor, Macapagal always puts the welfare of his constituents first. The mayor currently seeks the assistance of the provincial government in the acquisition of a land to be used for the town’s public high school.

“Agyang pung ortilanu ya balu na la reng aliwang concern ning kayang sasakupan a balen at aku pu saludu ku kaya at miadwangan kami,” the governor added.

Currently, the capitol has already spent eight million pesos for construction of farm-to-market roads, classrooms, and other infrastructure projects of San Luis.
