CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga— The Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) is set to confer Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda as ‘honoris causa’- Doctor of Public Administration on December 10, this year.
This is in accordance with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Order No. 19, Series of 2014, titled “Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on the Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Relative to this, Enrique G. Baking, president of DHVTSU told the governor during a courtesy call yesterday at the Governor’s Office that the latter will be awarded for her outstanding leadership and invaluable contributions in management and administration of public services.
“Our sincerest appreciation for being the unfaltering agency partner in promoting the best interest and welfare of our Cabalen through good governance and high quality education,” said Baking.
The awarding will be held at the University Auditorium on the said date.
