MABALACAT CITY — Mayor Crisostomo Garbo said the opening of S&R outlet is a great opportunity and a stepping stone to improve the lives of the locals here as they see more developments coming in this city.
Mayor Garbo said there are a lot of developments right now, even in the north-eastern portion of Mabalacat as the city is now catering to 15 big subdivisions.
This statement of the city mayor was made during the inauguration of the 14th warehouse of S&R Membership Shopping Center here attended by Governor Lilia Nanay Pineda, Board Member Olga Frances David Dizon, Vice Mayor Christian Halili, and Councilor Geld Aquino.
They were joined by S&R President Anthony Sy and other S&R executives.
According to Sy, S&R Dau is their 2nd outlet in Pampanga noting that the business opportunity in the province remains excellent due to the proven leadership of the provincial government.
“I want to thank Governor Lilia Pineda and Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, for your commitment to good governance that would ensure S&R San Fernando and S&R Dau will strengthen the S&R brand,” Sy said.
S&R President also expressed gratitude for the support of the Kapampangan people who signed up for membership prior to the opening.
S&R is a membership-shopping club modeled after the warehouse membership shopping chains introduced in the United States that offers quality selection of consumer electronics and appliances, branded health and beauty products and in-house brands offering.
Mayor Garbo, in a brief speech, lauded the lady governor for upholding the development of the province to harness the power of increasing consumer affluence.
He likewise recognized the efforts of Pineda for the past decade serving 505 barangays by continuously providing top-notched public services to the every Kapampangan.
