PSAU President lauds Gov for funding classroom building

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The President of Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) Dr. Honorio Soriano Jr. lauded Governor “Nanay” Lilia Pineda and the Provincial Board for funding the construction of a two-storey classroom building in the university.

Soriano said this during a phone patch interview at “Pampanga Kaluguran Daka”, the radio program of the provincial government, aired over RW 95.1 FM every Tuesday and Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.

According to Soriano, the P20 million building project is a big help to the university for the incoming school year especially now that they are expecting a lot of enrollees.

Soriano said PSAU recorded more than 6,000 students last school year and they are expecting up to 10,000 enrollees for the upcoming school year.

The university president said the building project will be beneficial especially for the students who are taking up agriculture courses in PSAU.

“The building will be occupied by the agri-business program and communication program of PSAU,” he added.

Soriano also encouraged Kapampangan students to take advantage and enroll in the different agricultural programs offered in PSAU.

The university president also asked the students and their parents to help in the school brigade and to assist in the preparation of the school which includes cleaning, painting, and repairing of rooms and other facilities.
